1. Introduction
Pick and Create helps you build polished event websites, share them as templates, and let customers customize their own copy before publishing.
2. Getting Started
Everything begins in your dashboard. From there, you can create a website project, manage templates, publish public pages, and track RSVP responses.
3. Creating a Website
- Click Create Website from the dashboard.
- Choose a starter template or begin with a blank website.
- Edit pages, sections, text, images, links, RSVP forms, countdowns, and music areas.
- Save the project as a draft until it is ready to publish.
4. Using Templates
Designers can publish website templates. When someone opens a template link, Pick and Create creates a separate project copy for that customer.
5. Editing as a Customer
Customers edit their cloned website in a simplified editor. They can change text, replace images, update external links, configure countdowns, and add music links without changing the original template.
6. Collecting RSVP Responses
RSVP forms live inside the published website. Responses are stored for the project and can be reviewed from the event overview.
You can manage guest-list behavior, approve responses when needed, and export responses for event operations.
7. Publishing
Publishing turns the current website project into static public HTML. Visitors open the site through the selected website slug.
8. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I receive notifications for new RSVP responses?
Yes. Enable email notifications in RSVP settings to receive updates when new responses are submitted.
Does editing a template change the original template?
No. Template buyers work on a cloned project, so the original designer template stays unchanged.
